Our Chateau is in a rural location at the edge of Martel in Quercy in the heart of the relatively undiscovered Lot and is in an excellent position to discover prestigious sites such as Rocamadour, Padirac, Sarlat, Castelnau to name but a few. Built in the 18th Century on the cliff edge, and full of character, this exquisitely decorated chateau offers exceptional views of the valley below and of the surrounding countryside.
We are French owners from the area, who speak English so we are therefore excellently placed to offer advise on things to see and do, but we will also help you experience how the French really live and eat !!!
The Chateau is only 1h30 mins from airports : Limoges, Bergerac and Toulouse, althought a car is recommended which can be hired from the airport. The drive from Calais or Boulogne is straight forward and takes about 8 hours. An overnight stop can be arranged .
